You are totaly right!! It's a good thing for an artist to experience many way of create image! I think you should take more photographies! I really like this one, because sky light and water makes the brigde's dark colour stronger
However, I learn at school that photos has some "rules" : the horizon's line never should be at the middle of the picture. Why? Because you have to choose between the sky and the background. I've made this mistake me too, it's hard to respect sometimes. In this case, for example! Water is nice, but sky is strong : what I should choose? >_< HEADACHE! xD
Be carefull to perspective : you should take more picture of the same subject on many points of view. Don't hesitate to take your time before taking a photo: some professionnal photographers tell me to "feel" the landscape or elements, an other one tells she look the object a loooong time, turn and turn around it, etc... We just need to find your own way to find the "GREAT" photo!
