Tall robot with prehensile tentacle arms. Got the idea from a drawing book but tweaked it into my own version. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the book. Or the author.

The book you are referring to is "50 Robots to Draw & Paint" by Keith Thompson. The specific robot you based this one off is the Off-World Trader from Page 92, though that specific robot according to the Acknowledgements was drawn by a guy named Corlen Kruger.

I know this because I keep that book around as a referance guide when I decide to sit down and draft up machines of my own X3
